Football Planet is a professional football networking, information, and community platform. Our community section — covering agents, players, clubs, fan clubs, the Social Network, — exists to connect football professionals and enthusiasts worldwide in a trustworthy, transparent, and respectful environment. These guidelines ensure that every listing, post, comment, video share, photo repost, and message is genuine, accurate, and appropriate.
2. User-Generated Content and Moderation
User content, notice-and-action, and Football Planet's moderation obligations
Football Planet provides tools for users to create profiles, post content, share YouTube videos, repost internet photos, interact with the community, and message each other privately (text and emoji only). We do not author or pre-screen all user-generated content before publication, and we do not endorse any individual post, video share, photo, comment, or message.
Users are responsible for ensuring the content they create, share, or send complies with these guidelines and applicable law. Football Planet also operates a notice-and-action process: we investigate valid reports, take proportionate action (including removal, account restriction, and escalation to law enforcement where required by law), and maintain a repeat-infringer policy for users who repeatedly breach these guidelines. We cannot guarantee that all non-compliant content will be detected or removed immediately, but we treat our moderation obligations seriously.

Ensure any photo, logo, or media you upload or share is content you have the right to use and publish
Impersonate any real person, club, organisation, or public figure
Claim false credentials, qualifications, licences, or career history
Create duplicate or fake profiles or Social Network accounts
Submit profiles or posts on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent
Post misinformation or deliberately false claims about players, clubs, or public figures
4. Social Network — Permitted and Prohibited Content
The Social Network allows registered users to share text posts, photos, videos, YouTube video links, and internet photo reposts with the football community. All content you publish through the Social Network is publicly visible to all visitors of Football Planet, whether or not they have an account.
Encouraged content includes:
Match reactions, opinions, and analysis
Football news commentary and discussion
Your own original photos and videos of football moments
YouTube videos shared via the video post feature — embedded using YouTube's official player, consistent with YouTube's Terms of Service
Internet photos that are in the public domain, covered by a Creative Commons or open licence, or that you otherwise have the right to repost — with credit to the source where appropriate
Career updates from players, agents, and football professionals
Fan experiences, match-day stories, and supporter culture
Constructive debates about the game
YouTube Video Sharing — Rules
Only share publicly available YouTube videos (public watch URLs)
Do not share private or unlisted videos without the uploader's permission
Do not use this feature to circumvent age restrictions or content policies on YouTube
You are responsible for ensuring the video is appropriate and consistent with these guidelines
Football Planet embeds videos via YouTube's official API and does not host or store video files
Internet Photo Reposts — Rules
Only repost photos that are in the public domain or covered by an open licence (e.g. Creative Commons) permitting republication
Do not repost watermarked, commercially licensed, or agency-owned photographs without permission
Credit the original source or photographer where required by the licence or good practice
Do not repost photos that contain private individuals' images without their consent
If in doubt, do not repost — share a link to the original source instead
Prohibited content includes:
Offensive, abusive, harassing, or threatening language directed at any person
Discriminatory content based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age
Sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic material
Content that glorifies or incites violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activity
Defamatory statements or false allegations about identifiable individuals or organisations
Spam, unsolicited promotions, multi-level marketing content, or irrelevant advertising
Links to malware, phishing sites, or other harmful destinations
Content that reveals another person's private information without their consent (doxxing)
Photos or videos of minors posted without parental consent
Copyright-infringing material — including unauthorised YouTube video shares and internet photo reposts that breach copyright

Comments on posts are subject to the same standards as posts themselves. Additionally:
- Do not use comments to harass or repeatedly target another user
- Do not post the same comment repeatedly on multiple posts (comment spam)
- Do not use comments to solicit personal information from other users
- Disagreement and debate are welcome — personal attacks are not
Football Planet is not responsible for comments posted by users. If you see a comment that violates these guidelines, please report it using the Contact Us button.
7. Professional Conduct (Profiles)
All content submitted to Football Planet must be professional and appropriate for a football industry platform.
Prohibited content in profiles includes:
Offensive, abusive, harassing, or threatening language in profile descriptions
Sexually explicit or obscene material
Content that glorifies violence or illegal activity
Spam, unsolicited promotions, or unrelated advertising content in profile fields
Links to malware, phishing sites, or other harmful content
8. Intellectual Property
- Do not upload photos, logos, or videos that you do not have the right to use and publish
- Do not use official club crests, league logos, or federation marks without authorisation
- Player images of professional players require consent or a valid licence
- Content you submit must not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
- Posting match broadcast footage, highlights owned by broadcasters, or other commercially licensed video content without authorisation is prohibited
- When sharing YouTube videos, only share publicly available videos consistent with YouTube's Terms of Service. Football Planet's YouTube embed feature does not authorise you to share restricted or copyrighted content without permission
- When reposting internet photos, ensure they are in the public domain or licensed for republication. Credit the source where the licence requires it or where good practice dictates

9. Privacy of Others
- Do not publish another person's private contact information (email, phone, address, location) without their explicit consent
- Do not submit a profile on behalf of a real player or agent without their permission
- Do not include information that could identify a minor or put a minor at risk
- Do not tag, mention, or post photos of identifiable individuals without reasonable grounds to believe they would consent
- Do not collect or harvest personal data about other users of the Social Network
- When reposting internet photos, do not share images that contain identifiable private individuals without their consent
10. Commercial Content
- Club listings may describe their recruitment needs and contact details
- Social Network posts may include football-related business announcements (e.g. a player announcing a new contract) but must not constitute unsolicited mass marketing
- Profile descriptions and posts must not contain multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid scheme, or unrelated commercial spam content
- Profiles or accounts created purely to drive traffic to an unrelated business or product will be removed
- YouTube video shares and internet photo reposts must not be used primarily as a vehicle for commercial advertising or affiliate promotion
11. Moderation and Approval
Content is subject to moderation
Agent profiles, player portfolios, and football club listings are reviewed by our moderation team before or after publication. Social Network posts, YouTube video shares, internet photo reposts, and comments may be reviewed reactively following reports. Messenger messages are private and are read by a person at Football Planet only when a message in that conversation is reported; they are not screened automatically. We reserve the right to approve, reject, remove, or restrict any submission or content that violates these guidelines or our Terms and Conditions.
Our moderation team will:
- Review all new profile submissions for compliance with these guidelines
- Investigate reported violations of posts, YouTube video shares, internet photo reposts, comments, messages, and accounts
- Remove or suspend profiles and accounts that violate these guidelines
- Escalate potential legal violations to the relevant authorities where required
12. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, Football Planet may:
- Remove a specific post, photo, video, YouTube video share, internet photo repost, or comment
- Reject a submitted profile without approval
- Remove a published profile without notice
- Suspend or permanently delete a Social Network account
- Permanently ban a submitter from creating future listings or accounts
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
Football Planet is not liable for any losses arising from the removal of content or an account that violates these guidelines.
13. Reporting Violations
If you believe a private message violates these guidelines, report it with the Report button inside the conversation. For a profile, post, YouTube video share, internet photo repost, comment or account, please report it using the Contact Us button in the sidebar. Include the username, post reference, or a description of the conversation and a brief description of the issue. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
14. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Football Planet, the Social Network, after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
