1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Football Planet (available at footballplanet.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the website. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the service, including those who create a Social Network account, or submit any user-generated content.

Football Planet is a football information, statistics, and professional networking platform providing:

• Free match predictions — the Match Predictor, Community Predictor and My Predictions personal record; participation is always free
• Weekly Football Challenge / Beat Football Planet AI — a free weekly prediction competition in which users and the Football Planet AI are scored under the same transparent rules
• Prediction leaderboards and Top 20 recognition — community rankings and recognition of top predictors; recognition is status only and carries no prize or monetary value
• FP Points, missions and streaks — a free internal participation and reward mechanism (see Section 7a)
• Stadium and pitch maps
• Football bars and venue listings
• University football programmes
• Fan clubs directory
• Ticket information and replica kit seller listings
• Football agent and player directory
• Football history and records
• Match predictions
• Social Network — a community platform where registered users can post text, photos, videos, share YouTube videos, and repost internet photos; comment on posts; and follow football professionals and fans worldwide
• Admin Live Panel — an admin-curated section displayed at the top of the dashboard that may feature a single publicly-available YouTube video (embedded via YouTube's official Embed API) or a short editorial text post; the section is invisible when nothing is posted; videos are auto-removed if they become unavailable on YouTube

3. Social Network — User Accounts

The Football Planet Social Network allows users to register a free account and participate in the community. By registering, you agree that:

• You are at least 16 years of age. Before sending your first private message you will also be asked to confirm, yourself, that you are 16 or over. That confirmation is your own declaration; Football Planet does not verify age.
• The information you provide during registration (username, email address) is accurate and truthful
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You will not create an account on behalf of another person without their consent
• You will not create multiple accounts or attempt to circumvent a suspension or ban

Football Planet reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, without prior notice.

4. User-Generated Content — Posts, Photos, Videos, YouTube Shares & Comments

Registered users of the Social Network may post text, photos, videos, share YouTube video links, repost internet photos, and leave comments ("User-Generated Content" or "UGC"). By submitting UGC, you:

• Confirm that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to post the content, or that your sharing of the content is authorised by the platform on which it originates
• Grant Football Planet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute the content as part of the platform
• Accept full responsibility for all content you post, including its legality, accuracy, and compliance with these terms
• Acknowledge that your posts, photos, videos, and comments are publicly visible to all visitors of Football Planet, including non-registered users

YouTube Video Sharing

The Social Network allows users to share YouTube videos by pasting a YouTube URL. Football Planet displays these videos using YouTube's official iframe embed player, where embedding is enabled by the uploader and not otherwise restricted. Football Planet does not host or store YouTube video content — the video remains hosted and served by YouTube. Embedding is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service, the uploader's settings, and applicable copyright and privacy law. When you share a YouTube video, you represent that you are sharing content in a manner consistent with YouTube's Terms of Service and the terms under which the original video was published. You must not use this feature to share private, unlisted, or otherwise restricted videos without the uploader's permission.

YouTube's standard cookie and tracking policy applies when a user interacts with an embedded YouTube player. See our Cookie Policy and YouTube's Terms of Service for details.

Internet Photo Reposts

Users may share or repost photos sourced from the internet on the Social Network. By doing so, you represent and warrant that the photo is in the public domain, licensed under a Creative Commons or similar open licence that permits republication, or that you otherwise hold a valid right to repost it. You must not repost commercially licensed, watermarked, or copyrighted photographs without the express permission of the rights holder. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Football Planet's liability for copyright infringement committed by users who repost third-party photographs without authorisation is subject to applicable intermediary protections, which depend on the platform's knowledge, notice-handling conduct, and moderation practices. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Rights holders may submit a DMCA notice as described in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

Important Disclaimer — User-Generated Content

Football Planet operates a notice-and-moderation process for UGC. We do not pre-screen all content submitted by users, but we review valid reports and take action including removal, account suspension, and referral to authorities where required. Football Planet's liability for user-generated content is subject to applicable law, including relevant intermediary and hosting provisions in the jurisdictions in which we operate. The views and content expressed by users are their own and do not represent the views of Football Planet.

You must not post content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or fraudulent
• Discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age
• Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right of any third party
• Contains sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic material
• Glorifies violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
• Constitutes spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial promotion
• Contains personal data of a third party without their explicit consent
• Impersonates any person, club, organisation, or public figure
• Uses the YouTube sharing feature to circulate private, unlisted, or restricted videos without the uploader's authorisation
• Reposts internet photos in violation of their applicable copyright or licence terms

4a. Admin Live Panel — Editorial YouTube Embeds

Football Planet operates an Admin Live Panel — an editorial section displayed at the top of the dashboard. When active, it may show one of the following:

• A publicly-available YouTube video embedded via YouTube's official Embed API
• A short editorial text post authored by Football Planet

Live Panel — YouTube Embedding Legal Basis

When Football Planet's editorial team features a YouTube video on the Live Panel, it does so via YouTube's official iframe embed player. Such use is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms, the uploader's embedding settings, and applicable copyright, privacy, and other law. The following applies:

No copying or re-hosting. Football Planet does not download, capture, re-encode, store, or re-distribute the video file in any form. The video is streamed directly from YouTube's own servers via the standard YouTube embed player.

Publicly available content only. Only videos that are publicly available on YouTube (status: public) are featured. Private, unlisted, or age-restricted videos are not embedded. The platform automatically checks video availability and removes a featured video from the dashboard if it becomes unavailable.

YouTube's monetisation preserved. Embedding via the official YouTube player preserves all original monetisation (ads), branding, attribution, and subscriber links set by the original creator. Football Planet does not interfere with or circumvent any monetisation mechanism.

Attribution and credit. The YouTube player displayed on Football Planet shows the original video's title, creator name, and YouTube branding at all times, as provided by the YouTube embed player. Football Planet does not claim authorship or ownership of the embedded video.

YouTube Terms of Service compliance. Use of the YouTube embed player is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, which apply to all such use. Embedding is also subject to the uploader's settings and applicable law.

No financial benefit from the video itself. Football Planet does not receive any advertising revenue, payment, or financial benefit derived from the embedded video content. Any affiliate or advertising revenue on Football Planet is unrelated to the embedded YouTube video.

Embedding — Legal Context

Football Planet uses YouTube's official iframe embed player to display selected publicly-available videos. Embedding is distinct from downloading, re-uploading, re-broadcasting, or creating an unauthorised copy of content. Embedding is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service, YouTube API Terms, the uploader's embedding settings, and applicable copyright, privacy, and other law in the relevant jurisdictions. Availability on YouTube does not guarantee that every video may lawfully be featured in every context.

The original rights holder retains full ownership and control of the video, including all YouTube monetisation settings. Rights holders may remove the video from YouTube at any time — upon which it is automatically removed from the Football Planet dashboard. Rights holders may also request removal of an embed from Football Planet directly using the contact details in these Terms.

If you are the rights holder of a video featured on the Live Panel and wish to request its removal from the Football Planet dashboard (separate from any YouTube-side request), please contact us via the Contact Us button in the sidebar and we will remove it promptly.

To request removal of the underlying video from YouTube itself, use YouTube's standard copyright complaint process.

6. Information Accuracy

Football Planet aggregates data from multiple third-party sources including ESPN, API-Football, and other data providers. While we strive to present accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any data displayed on the website.

Live scores, statistics, odds, and other time-sensitive data are provided for informational purposes only and may be subject to delays or inaccuracies. Do not rely solely on Football Planet data for any decisions, including financial or betting decisions.

7. No Betting or Gambling

Football Planet's position on gambling

Football Planet does not encourage, promote or facilitate gambling. Football Planet does not operate as a bookmaker, accept bets, process any financial transactions, or facilitate gambling of any kind. We hold no gambling or betting licence.

Football Planet is a points-only platform. It does not display bookmaker odds, list betting operators, or carry betting affiliate links. All points and credits on Football Planet are virtual, free, and have no monetary value.

Betting and gambling carry financial risk. You should only gamble with money you can afford to lose. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, seek help from a qualified organisation such as:

• BeGambleAware (begambleaware.org)

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Football Planet excludes liability for financial losses incurred through gambling, third-party affiliate platforms, or reliance on odds calculators or information displayed on this platform. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7a. FP Points, Weekly Challenge, Beat the AI & Top 20

FP Points are not money

FP Points are an internal Football Planet participation, reputation and reward mechanism. FP Points have no monetary or cash value, cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for money or anything of monetary value, do not constitute a financial instrument or winnings, and may be adjusted or reset by Football Planet to protect the integrity of the platform.

The following applies to Football Planet's prediction and participation features:

• Participation is free. No payment, deposit or paid entry is required or accepted for any prediction feature, the Weekly Challenge, missions, streaks or leaderboards, and no purchasable competitive advantage is offered.
• Weekly Challenge / Beat Football Planet AI: users and the Football Planet AI make predictions on the same fixtures and are scored under the same transparent rules. AI predictions are informational/entertainment content and may be wrong.
• Top 20 and leaderboard recognition is status and recognition only. No material prize, payout or reward of monetary value is currently offered or promised in connection with any leaderboard, ranking or challenge.
• Any future promotion involving anything of material value, if ever introduced, would be governed by its own separately published rules and would not be governed by this section.

Football Planet does not accept deposits or withdrawals, and no prediction, challenge entry, mission or streak creates any binding financial contract, bet or wager between Football Planet and the user.

8. Third-Party Links and Content

Football Planet contains links to third-party websites including ticket sellers, replica kit retailers, football bars, news publishers, and other external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site, and to the extent permitted by applicable law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party sites. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Accessing any linked third-party site is at your own risk. YouTube video content embedded on the Social Network is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

8a. Embedded Third-Party Media

The following additional terms apply to all embedded media displayed on Football Planet:

• All embedded media is streamed directly from the respective third-party platform and is not hosted, stored, copied, or redistributed by Football Planet in any form.
• Ownership, copyright, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights relating to embedded content remain with the respective copyright owners and content creators.
• Football Planet displays embedded content using the official embedding functionality provided by the relevant platform (e.g. the YouTube iframe Embed API), where available. This usage is permitted under the respective platform's Terms of Service.
• If a content owner removes a video, changes its privacy settings, disables embedding, or otherwise makes the content unavailable on the originating platform, the embedded content will no longer be available on Football Planet. In the case of the Admin Live Panel, such content is automatically detected and removed from the dashboard.
• Football Planet does not claim ownership of any embedded third-party media.
• Original creator attribution, platform branding, and all monetisation mechanisms (including advertisements) set by the content creator are preserved in the embedded player and are not modified or circumvented by Football Planet.
• Football Planet does not receive any advertising revenue, financial benefit, or other compensation derived from embedded video content itself.

If you are the rights holder of any content embedded on Football Planet and wish to request its removal from this platform, please contact us via the Contact Us button in the sidebar. For YouTube videos, you may also submit a copyright complaint directly to YouTube via their copyright complaint process.

8b. Third-Party Platforms

Embedded content and services provided by third-party platforms — including but not limited to YouTube and Google — remain subject to the respective platform's own Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and applicable policies. Football Planet is not responsible for the operation, availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party service. Your interactions with any third-party embedded player, link, or service are governed solely by that platform's terms and are at your own risk.

8c. Unofficial Affiliation Disclaimer

Football Planet is an independent football information and community platform. Football Planet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with:

FIFA or any FIFA member association

UEFA or any UEFA member association

The Football Association, or any national or regional football federation

Any professional football club, league, or governing body

EA SPORTS or any video game publisher

YouTube or Google

Any other organisation whose name, logo, or content may appear on this website

— unless expressly and specifically stated otherwise. The display of club names, logos, player names, competition names, or embedded video content from those organisations is for informational and fan community purposes only and does not imply any association, partnership, or endorsement.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the following intellectual property rules apply to content on Football Planet:

• Football Planet's own content: The Football Planet brand name, logo, visual identity, website design, user interface layout, original editorial copy, original statistical compilations, and other original content created by Football Planet are the exclusive intellectual property of Football Planet and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
• Third-party trademarks and logos: Football club crests, league logos, player images, competition marks, and other football-related assets displayed on this site are the property of their respective owners. Football Planet uses them solely for identification and informational purposes and does not claim any ownership over them.
• Embedded YouTube videos: Video content embedded on Football Planet (via the Social Network or the Admin Live Panel) remains the property of the original YouTube content creator and is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. Football Planet does not claim authorship or ownership of any embedded video.
• User-generated content: Content submitted by users through the Social Network remains the intellectual property of the respective user, subject to the non-exclusive licence granted in Section 4.
• Third-party data: Match data, statistics, and odds sourced from third-party data providers remain the property of those providers and are used under licence or for informational purposes.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of Football Planet's proprietary content is prohibited without prior written permission.

10. User Content

Users are solely responsible for any content they upload, submit, or publish through Football Planet — including Social Network posts, photos, videos, YouTube video links, internet photo reposts, comments, and private messages sent through the Messenger (text and emoji only). By submitting content, you warrant that:

• You possess all necessary rights, licences, consents, and permissions to submit the content and to grant Football Planet the rights described in Section 4
• The submission does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy right, or other legal right of any third party
• The content complies with all applicable laws and with Football Planet's Community Guidelines
• You accept full legal liability for your submissions and indemnify Football Planet against any claims arising from your content

Football Planet is an intermediary platform. We do not author, pre-screen, or endorse user-submitted content and are not responsible for it. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or applicable law without notice.

10a. Permitted Use

You may use Football Planet for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce Football Planet data at scale without written permission
• Use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its servers
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers) to access the service without prior consent
• Redistribute or sell data obtained from Football Planet without permission
• Use the Social Network to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Upload or share content through the Social Network that violates any applicable law or these terms
• Use the YouTube sharing feature to circumvent YouTube's Terms of Service or distribute restricted content
• Repost internet photos in violation of their applicable copyright or licence

11. Match Predictor and Community Prediction Features

Football Planet's Match Predictor, Community Predictor, and Prediction Leaderboard features are provided for entertainment and community engagement purposes only. These features allow users to submit personal match outcome predictions and track community prediction statistics.

• Prediction results, probabilities, and statistics do not constitute financial advice of any kind
• Predictions should not be used as a basis for betting, wagering, or any investment decision
• Football Planet does not guarantee the accuracy of any prediction, probability figure, or match outcome indicator
• Football Planet is not a bookmaker and does not accept bets in connection with any prediction feature
• Football IQ scores, prediction accuracy ratings, and leaderboard rankings are for entertainment and community purposes only and carry no monetary value

11a. AI-Generated Content

AI Content Disclaimer

Football Planet may use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, comparisons, statistics, rankings, match analyses, tactical insights, predictions, recommendations, translations, and other informational content. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information
• AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to financial, legal, medical, or sports betting advice
• AI-generated content should not be treated as guaranteed factual information and should be independently verified before being relied upon
• Football Planet does not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content
• Football Planet does not use your personal data to train AI models unless explicitly stated and separately consented to

Where content is AI-generated or AI-assisted, Football Planet makes reasonable efforts to review it for accuracy, but cannot guarantee that AI content is free from error at all times.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Football Planet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Football Planet disclaims all liability for:

• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the data displayed
• Any loss or damage arising from use of the website
• Any interruption, suspension, or unavailability of the service
• Any reliance placed on odds, statistics, predictions, or calculator outputs
• Any content posted, shared, commented on, or reposted by users through the Social Network, including but not limited to defamatory statements, copyright-infringing material, unauthorised YouTube shares, or any other unlawful content submitted by third parties
• Any copyright claims arising from YouTube video links shared by users or internet photos reposted by users, where such content was shared without the rights holder's authorisation
• Any interruption, removal, modification, or unavailability of embedded third-party content or services, including YouTube videos embedded via the Social Network or Admin Live Panel, where such unavailability results from action by the third-party platform or rights holder
• Any data collected by third-party embedded players (including YouTube) or linked platforms, which are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies and over which Football Planet has no control

Football Planet operates notice-and-moderation processes for user-generated content and private messages. For private messages this means a Report button inside each conversation, review by a person at Football Planet, and removal of the message or suspension of the account where warranted; private messages are not screened automatically. Football Planet's liability for such content is subject to applicable law, including the EU Digital Services Act, the UK Online Safety Act, and equivalent provisions in other target jurisdictions, to the extent those provisions apply to Football Planet's operations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that users have under applicable consumer or data protection law.

13. Privacy and Data Collection

Football Planet collects personal data from users who register for the Social Network, including username, email address, and any content voluntarily submitted. When you use the Messenger, we also store private message content, conversation records, the fans you have blocked, reports you make, and your confirmation that you are 16 or over. This data is used to operate the Social Network and Messenger features. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.

14. Copyright Complaints

Rights holders who believe that content on Football Planet infringes their intellectual property may contact Football Planet through our copyright reporting process. Valid notices will be reviewed and actioned promptly.

If you are a copyright owner or an authorised representative and believe that any content appearing on Football Planet infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with:

• Sufficient information to identify and locate the allegedly infringing material on Football Planet (including the relevant page URL)
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• Evidence of your ownership of or authorisation to act on behalf of the rights holder
• Your contact information (name, email address)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

Football Planet will review all legitimate copyright complaints promptly and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the relevant content. Please submit copyright complaints via the Contact Us button in the sidebar with the subject "Copyright Complaint". For the full DMCA procedure, see our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

Note: For YouTube video content, the most effective remedy for the underlying video is to submit a copyright complaint directly to YouTube via their copyright complaint process. Once a video is removed from YouTube, it is automatically removed from Football Planet as well.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, including to reflect changes to our features, legal requirements, or operational practices. Football Planet aims to review its legal documentation at least annually. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Where permitted by applicable law, your continued use of Football Planet after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to bring them to your attention.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
